Hello, I’m Delores. I was born in Baltimore and raised in both Morgantown and Baltimore. I started baking at a young age, around six years old. I loved challenging myself to create difficult desserts from scratch like macaroons, pies, cupcakes, and everything in between. In 2022, I decided to launch ‘DD’s Delights.’ DD’s Delights is a home-based business that offers homemade desserts and baked goods. We sell our treats at pop-up shops through personal orders, and among other venues.
I am currently a student at Bard High School Early College, with an anticipated graduation date of June 2025. After high school, I plan to attend college and major in Film and Television, intending to become a film director. I am also a student at Wide Angle Youth Media, where I study videography. These classes explore the fundamentals of filmmaking and have given me hands-on experience in various fields such as audio, camera assistance, lighting, and much more.
